I've had two surgeries in the last year and Mr Milligan has been totally brilliant throughout. From diagnosis through to aftercare I have always felt in absolutely safe hands, which means everything when you've just had a cancer diagnosis. He explains everything clearly and concisely, checking you understand, outlining the options and listening to your views. I felt involved throughout - I never, ever felt that things were happening 'to me'. They always happened 'with me' He genuinely cares, and wants the best for you, and makes that 'best' happen. The surgeries both went extremely well - I'm not a medic, so am not really qualified to talk about the technicalities, but he's obviously a superb surgeon, and I'm absolutely delighted with the cosmetic result. So... all parts of the process happened very promptly and smoothly, with my full involvement and choice, and now the cancer is gone, and everything looks and feels great, and I genuinely never felt anxious because I trusted him - and the team - so implicitly, and felt surrounded with competence and care. Seriously, is there anything more you could ask for? ( The answer is no.) I even know that if I ever have any concerns in the future I can ring up. I'm enormously grateful to both him and the whole team - from the first callback appointment to the most recent review, it's been very clear that the team works together really well. I simply could not have had better care anywhere than the care I had from Mr Milligan and the team at QEH. I will always be grateful. Thank you! And whatever you're paying them, pay them more!
