From the first moment I met with Mr Dennis I knew I was in great hands.He listened carefully to my long history of ups and downs with my Crohn's disease, but quickly we decided surgury was the best option going forward. He took the time to fully explain the planned procedure including the recovery time need, the risks and also the rewards. When I arrived at theatre he was there to greet me like an old friend and he and his team made sure I was calm and comfortable. Mr Dennis soon visited me when I returned to the ward (A4) to let me know that the operation was a great success and answered a few questions I had. Amazingly he also visited every day to check on my progress and also saw me twice on the day I was discharged to make sure I was happy to leave the wonderful care of the hospital and recouperate at home.
