Mr Almeyda was extremely courteous and took time to listen to my concerns. The procedure of passing a camera down my nose into my throat is not particularly pleasant but he did it skilfully with minimum discomfort. He the explained in detail what the procedure revealed, referring to computer images. He suggested a further MRI scan and I had an appointment within a few days. His letter explaining the outcome of his examination was mailed to me and my GP the same day. I though him an outstanding physician and a very kind person.
Level 2 Townlands Hospital is a vast improvement on the ENT premises at RBH: a much better environment for doctors and patients.
