Thank you to Mr Robert Almeyda for his treatment of my ear on Friday. I had a foreign object lodged and he was brilliant with me from start to finish. Didn't rush - told me what was happening and put me at ease that he was going to solve the problem. I was in and out of Townlands hospital within an hour. Excellent all round. Thanks again.

Appointment at Townlands Hospital at 0900 easy free parking attended the clinic Robert called me through at 0845 examined and was out again by 0900 every thing explained and a follow-up letter arrived within 7 days with helpful points going forward What a fantastic example of the NHS at its very best The bacon roll in the cafe is almost 5 star - Brilliant all round service

Mr Almeyda always listens carefully to my symptoms and concerns. His examinations are thorough and he explains clearly and carefully his diagnosis and the treatment necessary. He continues to followed up the treatment. He is a very personable doctor and makes me feel at ease. Thanks to his treatment and diagnosis my condition has improved immensely.

Mr Almeyda is a great ENT Consultant. I have been under his care since 2014 for Chronic Sinusitis with Nasal Polyps. My main symptom is loss of smell and taste and I am increasingly reliant on Prednisolone as a rescue medication. That carries the risk of serious side effects, so I met with My Almeyda in early March 2024 to review my condition and discuss options. As always, he is a great listener and made constructive suggestions which I am putting into practice. He's my go-to ENT specialist. My only problem as an NHS patient, it took me over one year to secure this appointment. But now I am on Patient Initiated Follow Up (PIFU) for one year, I should be able to fast-track a follow-up appointment if I need it.
