Dr Almeyda performed endoscopic sinus surgery on me. I have chronic sinusitis. The surgery was successful. Dr Almeyda is professional, knowledgeable, he listens well, he arranged surgery for me promptly as my post nasal drip was dripping into my lungs and causing infection which was risky for me as I have a lung condition. He did go over and beyond because I sent him several emails when I was most struggling asking him questions and he responded promptly to all my emails and questions. He tried to help the best he could. I am happy with the outcome of my surgery. Thank you Dr Almeyda to you and your team. I was well look aftered at the hospital by all. Keep up the good work.

I had an exceptionally positive experience with Mr. Robert Almeyda and his team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital ENT Department. From the initial consultation, Mr. Almeyda was highly attentive, ensuring I understood all the risks and benefits of my upcoming surgery. His thoroughness and empathy put me at ease. One detail that stood out was that, a year after my consultation, Mr. Almeyda remembered me and took the time to see me before the surgery, demonstrating genuine care for his patients. After the procedure, I appreciated that ENT surgeons like Mr. Almeyda personally checked on me. This level of post-surgery follow-up made me feel well-supported in my recovery, which I haven't always observed in other departments. The post-surgery consultation was also conducted with great professionalism. The endoscopic examination was performed with remarkable gentleness, making it as comfortable as possible. Furthermore, Mr. Almeyda took extra time to understand my persistent issue with tinnitus and proactively initiated a referral to an audiology specialist for further assessment. This consideration was beyond my expectations and reassured me that my concerns were genuinely valued. Overall, Mr. Almeyda’s attentiveness, professionalism, and dedication to patient care were evident throughout my entire experience. I would highly recommend him and the ENT Department at Royal Berkshire to anyone needing specialized care.
