Prior to my surgery at the hospital Mr Almeyda spoke with me and explained the procedure which was reassuring and gave me confidence. I think it is important for the patient to be fully informed in a kindly manner and I was given the opportunity to ask any questions.
I found the environment in the theatre very calming. Mr. Almeyda spoke to me later in the ward to check on my condition and I was given clear instructions to care for myself at home and given medication to help with the healing. The experience, treatment and care were first class.
The follow-up consultation was courteous and helpful. The need for future reviews were explained and arranged for me.
