I first seen Mr Westerman around two and a half years ago, with pain in my left knee. He quickly identified that this was being caused by wear in my right hip and helped me adjust my lifestyle to minimise the impact and pain this was causing. Over the time I have been being treated I have constantly felt both informed and in control and have always felt comfortable with the decisions and advice I have been given. In September 2021 it was decided that there was no other option other than to undertake a total hip replacement. At this point the information and care I received was second to none. I was apprehensive about elements of the procedure, however the information available and support from Mr Westerman and his team both helped me to relax and understand in detail exactly what could be expected and played a huge part in easing my concerns. The procedure itself was exactly as described and the care I received both whilst in hospital and since the surgery (now just over six weeks ago) has been exemplary and without question ensured that I was always as comfortable as possible and supported a strong and quick recovery. I would not have the slightest doubt in recommending to anyone that requires a similar procedure to contact Mr Westerman for their treatment.
