After many months of severe hip pain, increasing imobility and being advised that NHS waiting could be as much as 18 months I decided to look at having my hip replacement done privately. After some research I chose BMI Coventry as my best option. When I called about an initial consultation the receptionist mentioned a few names and I chose Mr Westerman as I had heard his name mentioned at my NHS consultation. How pleased I was that I did. I had my first consultation within a week and surgery 3 weeks following. When Mr Westerman said that I would find a immediate difference I was understandably a little sceptical but true to his promise as I lay in my room after the operation I could feel the difference. Movement that had long since been very painful became easy and I could see a much more pleasant and active future. I am 6 weeks on now and going from strength to strength continuing with the exerises and increasing my walking distance. All in all a very positive outcome from a very pleasant and skilled practitioner.
