Good detailed communication concerning options, risks, pre-operative preparation and post-operative care, resulting in a successful partial knee-replacement.
I could not have had better care, everything was well explained and I had numerous opportunities to ask questions.
I felt totally safe and in expert hands in Mr Hopcrofts care.
Mr. Hopcroft was absolutely wonderful and I only wish that I'd had these 2 knee replacements done earlier. It's made a fantastic difference to my life. Can't thank him and his lovely Secretary enough.
I had a full knee replacement on 13 January 2022 with Mr Hopcroft. I found him very informative about the procedure before and after the operation. Mr Hopcroft was very encouraging with regard to my rehabilitation. It is now 4.5 months since my knee replacement and I am sea swimming nearly every day, able to walk 4 miles 2-3 times a week and also using a static bike without any side effects. Exercise after a knee replacement can hurt and is a chore to do but I'm glad I persevered as I'm nearly back to normal.
I had been suffering for several years when I was referred to Richard Hopcroft. At our first meeting , he gave me a thorough examination, and sent me for ex rays to confirm his diagnosis, which was spot on. Mr Hopcroft moved fast to get me into the hospital for surgery. I felt confidence In him from the start , and that confidence was proved correct in the operation and great care that followed . He is such a good specialist and I feel privileged to have had him do the surgery.
