Mr Hopcroft has a very patient-centred manner. He articulates very well which helps in understanding the problem and the proposed solution. His manner makes you feel that he genuinely cares about the patient which helped on the day of my procedure. Post procedure care was very good, and I feel that I am in good hands for the next stage.

Doctor Hopcoft replaced my 83 year old mother’s nee and done an amazing job My mother suffered no unnecessary pain and healed amazingly.
She is having the other née replaced very soon and we are so thankful that Mr Hopcroft is doing the operation.

Best experience with Mr Hopcroft, I have been to many doctors and had a few surgeries on my knee and always came out worse than before, I then met Mr Hopcroft and after a few chats and a surgery my knee feels like new. He is always professional, and is upfront and honest about everything.

From my first consultation with Mr Hopcroft regarding a possible knee replacement I was filled with confidence. He explained everything so thoroughly including the unlikely negatives. I immediately felt in safe hands and actually looked forward to the procedure and being able to resume daily living without pain. The whole team, anaesthetist, nurses and Mr Hopcrofts lovely secretary made the whole experience as comfortable and easy as possible.

Recently had a minor knee operation carried out by Mr Hopcroft. He explained everything really well and answered all my questions fully.
The operation was completely successful and the follow up appointments gave me all the information in a polite and positive manner.
I would not hesitate to see Mr Hopcroft for any further problems. Excellent service.

Mr Hopcroft is a hip and knee surgeon who specialises in hip and knee replacement surgery for arthritis, cartilage repair and ligament reconstruction of the knee through arthroscopic or keyhole surgery. Mr Hopcroft joined the MSG in September 2018, from the James Cook University Teaching Hospital, having been a consultant since 2009.
