I had my surgery at Royal Free Hospital and Mr Ravi Barod was my surgeon. My experience was great right from pre operative to post operative period.
I was really pleased when he came to the Anaesthetic room, just before having my Anaesthesia, to say hello and reassure me about my operation - that gesture really meant a lot to me!
He also personally called me with the good news , after four weeks, that I was cleared !
What also impressed me is that I had little pain after surgery and pain killers was no longer needed after two days. My wound has also healed perfectly well.
