I had been suffering for about a year with severe back pain and sciatica and getting nowhere with the NHS so had decided to investigate private treatment. I visited one consultant and left with no confidence in what he told me. A friend recommended I contact the Winfield Hospital and I spoke to Mr Sundarum there. He was much more measured and thorough with his examination and diagnosis and I was much more confident to use his information to decide to have my operation. It was a complicated procedure involving two decompressions and a spinal stabilisation. To expedite the operation he arranged for it to be done at the Nuffield in Cheltenham.
His explanation and discussions made me feel confident that the operation would be successful. It was and 3 moths later I am very pleased to say I am recovering well and in a far better place than I had been for a year. I would like to thank Mr Sundarum for his care and the massive improvement in my quality of life.
