Top line- Mr Nair has extended my lifespan. Had I ignored my prostate cancer it would have developed to a stage needing more serious treatment. Mr Nair was recommended by my urology consultant who had done my biopsy and upon meeting Mr Nair I became confident that his advice was the best course of action, which even included a call with another consultant to consider the merits of alternative treatment (radiotherapy versus a radical prostatectomy).
My operation went ‘textbook’ well and my recovery is a journey that I would reassure others in my position is a journey worth taking.
