I cannot praise Mr R. Thakrar enough. At my initial consultation he was very attentive and I felt he gave me sufficient information to make the decision to go ahead with a partial knee replacement. 5 weeks after surgery I had a problem with severe pain and I rang Pinehill hospital for advice. It was Mr Thakrar who called back advising me to go to A&E. He arranged for his Registrar to see me there. On admission to The Lister hospital Mr Thakrar visited me on my 1st morning and his Registrar saw me later that day and the following day. Mr Thakrar rang me at home 2 days running. He is an extremely caring surgeon and I would not hesitate to to recommend him to anyone.
