Mr Thakrar is in my opinion everything you could want from a consultant. Unfortunately over the years, I have had many different operations and I can honestly say that Mr Thakrar is the best surgeon I have had. My situation was quite rare but Mr Thakrar was incredibly knowledgeable and he has a great skill in being able to communicate his knowledge in layman's terms. He takes the time to listen fully and ensure he understands the whole picture and goes to the effort of reassuring and explaining in detail what will/has happened, answering all of my questions fully (even the ones which felt a bit silly!) He clearly loves what he does and that shows in how he comes across.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Thakrar. He is kind, polite, genuine and understanding as well as being great at what he does.
