For many years I had wanted to have breast reduction surgery but had been put off by a doctor I had consulted many years ago. Late last year my husband encouraged me to look into this further due to my embarrassment and discomfort. After much research, I decided to arrange a consultation with Mr Turton. Mr Turton's secretary was extremely helpful and explained what options there were. During the consultation Mr Turton and his Breast Care Nurse, Jill, were very helpful and informative but most of all, very understanding and reassuring. I was so impressed that I booked my surgery for the first available appointment. I was given lots of information about the surgery itself and how to help with my recovery. My care during surgery, in the hospital afterwards (only one night)and then at my post surgery check-ups with Jill, Diane and Mr Turton, could not have been better. I can truthfully say that I had the minimum of discomfort. I was careful to follow all the advice I was given and was back at work after 2 weeks. To say I am happy with the results would be the understatement of the century. My only desire from the surgery was to be smaller, and I was confident that Mr Turton would know what would be the best size for my frame. It is now 3 months since my surgery and I cannot believe how comfortable I feel. My wounds are well healed and I understand the thin scars will fade but, quite honestly don't feel it will matter if they don't as they are so thin. I cannot recommend Mr Turton and his team highly enough and I am so grateful to him for his skill and care.
