In 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy carried out by Mr Turton. I then completed chemotherapy and radiotherapy before returning to Mr Turton for breast reconstruction. I began with a breast reduction on my remaining breast followed by a latissimus dorsi reconstruction on the site of the mastectomy. In total I have had five breast operations, all with Mr Turton. Having now completed my reconstruction the results are more than I could have ever hoped for. The scars are minimal and fading well and I can now wear whatever I please, including swimwear, with confidence. The care I have received from Mr Turton throughout the past three years has been outstanding. He has always explained each procedure beforehand fully answering any questions I may have had. He is a kind and caring doctor and is meticulous in his work. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any breast surgery you may considering. Having breast cancer surgery and reconstruction can be a worrying time but it would be difficult to find someone more competant or caring than Mr Turton. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
