Diagnosed with a growth at the gastro-oesophageal junction by Mr Jambulingam at the Luton Hospital, it was decided, following an aborted Chemotherapy session that surgery should proceed at Watford Hospital. Mr Jambulingam performed the operation and aftercare at Watford was supervised by Mr Al-Bahrani. Surgery went very well and at all times I was kept well informed of the situation by these wonderful gentlemen and their teams. I have been told that full recovery will take some time but so far all is well despite being told of all the risks particularly at my age (74).
