I saw Mr Gurr privately after a problem with my thyroid. The NHS were too vague but after an appointment with Mr Gurr on the Thursday I was back in his office with a full plan of action on the Tuesday as he had spent Friday speaking to 3 NHS staff to get to the bottom of my issue . He did not delay and he prioritised my situation and totally looked after me. An absolute professional and so lovely with it.
He is very kind very thorough and extremely good at what he does. I had to have surgery and his needlework was brilliant my scar is almost invisible 6 months on. I have to speak as I find and for me he was an absolute gentleman. Would I see him again - yes in a heartbeat he is the best - is the NHS flawed? isn't everything ? but this man stepped in and made a huge difference to my diagnosis and I could have been missed. I will always be grateful to him for spotting something so quickly before it got nasty.
