I was very reassured by Mr Drake's manner and professionalism. The atmosphere in the operating theatre was calm, with clear instructions and supportive behaviour.
The local anaesthetic on my face was painful, but the rest of the procedure painless.
I developed a faint at the end of the procedure, but again, everybody was kind and supportive.
The wound is healing very well indeed and is almost unnoticeable.
