In November 2020 I was diagnosed with a weak valve in the left side of my heart. This was resulting in me having palpitations. Sometimes these were very severe. I was admitted to St Thomas's Hospital in London under the care of Dr. Paolo Bosco. I under went extensive surgery and remained in the care of the Nursing Team on Daulton ward before being discharged.
Mr Bosco and his Team saved my life. I am convinced of that. I could not have had any better treatment or care anywhere in the world.
In the past 15 months I have come to appreciate everyday what the Cardiac Team as St Thomas's did for me. I have life and can enjoy it to its fullest. Thank you seems such a small phrase but it comes with the utmost gratitude for my treatment. Thank you.
