A dreadful appointment. The doctor paid absolutely no attention to what I told him about my symptoms. I told him about the depression and urge to self harm that I experience prior to me period, to which he responded 'Its all in your head.'
I was sent for an ultrasound, and apparently he didn't bother to give the diagnostician any instructions on what to look for, as she asked me what she was supposed to be doing. I don't believe he ever had any intention of treating me.
The doctor was rude, dismissive and unhelpful. I would recommend an appointment with literally anyone else.
I have since seen a consultant who listened to my issues, and will soon be undergoing treatment to help with my gynaecological issues.
