My father was diagnosed with a meninginoma brain tumour in 2019, he was referred to Mr Omar Pathmanaban due to him deteriorating and requiring an operation as soon as possible. As soon as we met with Mr Pathamanaban, he put us at ease with his presentation and how he explained everything to my father including the risks that came with this procedure. Mr Pathmanaban managed to get my father on to his emergency list which meant that he would have the operation within two weeks after the consultation. On undergoing the operation, which was 8 hours long, Mr Pathmanaban personally called my mother to tell her how the procedure had gone, which was really well. Mr Pathmanaban and his team made my father feel calm and reassured as this was a worrying and difficult for my father. Mr Pathmanaban also visited my father when he was put on to a ward to chat with him and ask how he was. This man and his team are exceptional and myself and my family cannot thank him and his team for what he did.
