Oliver Warren performed a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair on a sack on my right side on the 1st of December 2023. The procedure had had to be postponed for various reasons and the sack had become considerably enlarged since first appearing in the preceding August. At the consultation prior to surgery Mr. Warren explained very clearly precisely what would be involved and advised that pain relief would be needed for 5 days after the procedure and that dressings would be able to be removed 7 days after. After 6 weeks he anticipated that I should be able resume vigorous exercise. It is now 7 weeks since the repair and all of Mr. Warren's timings have been accurate to the day. I am back in the gym and have begun to return to high intensity training in the past week without any discomfort. Also, the small incision scars have begun to fade away and the scar tissue around the repair itself is getting noticeably smaller. This entire episode could not have gone better and I am hugely indebted to Oliver Warren for getting me from being painfully incapacitated back to full health in a mere six weeks.
