I first saw Mr Harley after he was recommended to me by a friend. This friend like me had Duypertrons and I was amazed to see how wonderful his hand looked and functioned. I had previously had surgery in Australia which was not at all successful and in no time my little finger was worse than ever. My first visit to Mr Harley was a great experience, he listened to everything I had to say and made me feel like he really cared. Firstly he operated on my right hand as I was having awful pins and needles, he told me it was carpel Tunnel. My previous surgeon had never even mentioned this to me, the difference was amazing. Very little pain and no scarring at all. Then came the left hand which was really deformed with my little finger starting to dig into the palm of my hand, the duypertrons was starting to bring the knuckles of my hand out of shape as it was going down the side of my hand. I was very depressed and would hide my hand whenever I went anywhere. On the day of the operation Mr Harley was so reassuring but did not make idle promises, he pointed out that he couldn’t guarantee my finger would be completely straight and told me to be prepared for only a slight difference. Well it is three months now and I have a beautiful little finger and middle finger which he also operated on. I saw Mr Harley today and it was like talking to an old friend. He was very pleased with the results of his work and happy that I had such a good result. It has made such a difference to my life in so many ways and to me Mr Harley is the best doctor I have seen with my hands and I can’t wait to have him start on my right hand. I am so very very lucky to have had the good fortune to have found him and have my faith renewed in our hospital and medical staff. Thank you Mr Harley, you will forever have my thanks for your wonderful work and for being such a Lovely person and dedicated surgeon.
