I have been fortunate enough to have both hips replaced by Mr Shah and recently a knee replacement. During the initial consultations Mr Shah explained to myself and my husband exactly what was wrong with my joints. He told us what he would be able to do, answered all our questions and reassured me regarding the actual operations themselves. At no point did I feel like a patient on a production line but an individual that he cared about. On the days of the operations he visited me on the ward to confirm everything that was being done and the approximate timings for the day. Then after the operations he came to see me in the recovery area to let me know how well everything had gone. I am pleased to say that I can now easily walk over 5000 pain free steps a day for which I will always be grateful to Mr Shah for.
