On initial consultation the doctor took time to listen to my concerns, he then performed a comprehensive examination. He then explained the benefits and risks involved and the types of surgery available and also the option of no surgery. At no time did I feel under pressure to take a particular option. Following my operation Mr De' Liguori Carino visited my room prior to my discharge to explain how he thought the operation had gone and to explain what I should do in following my discharge and how to contact him is I had any concerns.
