I have consulted Nicholas Smith on several occasions and have found that he combines the erudition evident in his distinguished qualifications with an ability to communicate with clarity and, just as importantly, a willingness to listen. He is happy to answer questions, to discuss alternatives and to go into the pros and cons of various treatment options. He does all this in a genuinely pleasant way, entirely professional but not devoid of a gentle humour, which inspires a trust which is, in my experience, wholly justified. This is a practitioner in whom I would have total confidence whether performing a routine exam, diagnosing a condition or performing any necessary surgery.
