I first met Mr Haden when I was in severe pain following prolapsed discs and a degenerative spinal condition. An MRI showed a serious condition and I was unable to walk properly. He was very patient, reassuring and listened to my problems. I was booked for surgery (lumbar decompression) on his next available list. The surgery was successful and I walked out of hospital, an amazing achievement in itself.
Since then I have required 2 more operations, an ACDF and a revision decompression. I have had utmost confidence in his surgical skill and he has been caring and honest throughout. He phoned my husband post surgery to reassure him and that meant a great deal. I genuinely believe he is the best spinal surgeon in my area although I hope to never need another spinal operation!
