I would highly recommend Mr Haden who basically saved my life by performing a very tricky & lengthy surgical procedure. I fell off a cliff at Cape Cornwall and was rushed by helicopter to Treliske & then onto Derriford in Plymouth. I suffered a double fracture in my neck which could have left me paralysed but Mr Haden and his team worked their magic on me and now over 2 years on, my life is pretty much back to normal and my recovery has exceeded all my expectations. I have no doubt that without Mr Haden's specialist knowledge I would not be here today writing this. If you are lucky enough to be operated on by Mr Haden, please do not worry, you are in safe hands. I will forever be grateful to him.

I first met Mr Haden when I was in severe pain following prolapsed discs and a degenerative spinal condition. An MRI showed a serious condition and I was unable to walk properly. He was very patient, reassuring and listened to my problems. I was booked for surgery (lumbar decompression) on his next available list. The surgery was successful and I walked out of hospital, an amazing achievement in itself. Since then I have required 2 more operations, an ACDF and a revision decompression. I have had utmost confidence in his surgical skill and he has been caring and honest throughout. He phoned my husband post surgery to reassure him and that meant a great deal. I genuinely believe he is the best spinal surgeon in my area although I hope to never need another spinal operation!
