I am 85 years of age but the doctor spent time at the consultation and on my admission to ensure I fully understood what the problem I had and how he was going to deal with it.
After the operation he made several visits to me before I was discharged from hospital to reassure me about the operation I had had and to give me clear guidance as to my anticipated recover rate.
I felt totally at ease.
