I was under then care of Mr.Hussain suffering from Cervical stenosis at the top of my spine, causing numbness, balance issues and sensations in my arms and hands I can only describe as tingling like an electric shock. After my consultation Mr.Hussain explained that although the surgery carried lots of risks, not having it could result in a serious deterioration of my situation. Mr Hussain gave me the confidence to proceed with surgery. The day of the operation was well organised and I was introduced to a number of Mr Hussain’s team who talked me through the process and answered my questions. All went well and afterwards Mr Hussain called in to see me and to update me. The nurses and staff on my ward were brilliant nothing was too much trouble. On discharge I was again fully advised and updated of what to expect and to do. I saw physio’s and other nurses. I can only say that surgery is worrying but Mr Hussain and his team are very skilled and have my upmost respect. I would like to personally thank Mr Hussain for his dedication.
