Mr Hussain was sensitive to the worries that I had before this demanding surgery and gave me a great deal of his time. He gave me detailed and knowledgeable advice which inspired confidence. I am thrilled to say that the surgery on my spine was successful and that he has continued to be conscientious in the subsequent post-operative care and check. I am extremely grateful to Mr Hussain and his team at Hull Royal Infirmary.

I would like to thank Mr Hussain for everything he did for me relating to operating on my spine. Prior to my operation he explained clearly how the operation would be performed, the expected outcome and the risks involved in having the operation. He also brought to my attention that an AAA had been detected on an MRI scan I had prior to the operation. He referred me to the vascular dept and took advice as to whether it was safe to carry out the operation on my spine. He also gave me appropriate advice re medication I was already taking to again lower the risk to my health. The operation was a complete success and I am now free of the issues I had prior to it being done. The scar left on my back is very neat after the wound healed without any issues. Mr Hussain put myself and my wife at ease at all times during our contact with him. I would 100% trust in his word and abilities and the thorough way he goes about his work.

I would like to thank Mr Hussain for his excellent skills and caring attitude when I needed an urgent operation on my spine. This was at the Hull Royal Infirmary, he and his team were top class. I would also like mention my 'follow up' appointment at the Castle Hill Hospital with Mr Hussain, he welcomed both my wife and myself making us feel relaxed and reassured. After he listened to my concerns and questions he answered them all in detail, then after testing the movement and strength in my legs he seemed pleased with my progress. Mr Hussain then spoke positively to both my wife and myself before we left the consulting room.
