I had a Roux-En-Y gastric Bypass done by Mr Javed in May 2007, i was given all the help and advice i could possibly need by him and his team. Following his instructions and that of the dietician i have a had a really smooth journey, and i'm so pleased to say that because if this i have lost an amazing 12.5 st. The only downfall i would say is the after care needs to be looked at and changed, my operation was done on the NHS and this only gives 2 years after care. I think this is not long enough as problems can occur longer out from surgery than in the 2 years paid for by the PCT.
