Having been referred for post-menopausal bleeding, I had an appointment in the Bedford Hospital urgent Gynaecological unit following ultrasound scans. I was under the assumption that I was merely obtaining my results. Well....once in there and within minutes I was told that Mr Murhan was going to perform a biopsy. Mr Murhan explained everything thoroughly, and I was soon in the chair. Painful is an understatement, however he kept me chatting throughout and then afterwards he explained what was going to happen next. He also made me feel that if I had any issues, in no uncertain terms was I to contact him immediately. What a gentle, kind, and empathetic soul he is! Amazing service by the nhs too.
