Following a routine Mammogram in January, and further Biopsy's and MRI scan in February I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. In March Mr El Gammal operated and removed the cancer in my left breast and LCIS from my right breast. 5 weeks later a further operation was needed to clear the margins in my left breast. My surgeon was helpful, precise and made me feel safe in his hands. I cannot thank Mr El Gammal and his team enough for the quick actions and the care I received during this very difficult time. I would also like to thank the operating staff and the Sunderland ward staff for their care during my stay. Once again I am so thankful to them all for the wonderful care I have received.
