A young consultant with modern views and up to date training. He went out of his way to do my operation in time to allow me to do my fund raising for the British Legion. My operation went to plan and my recovery was swift. My District nurse on checking my wound after two weeks said that it was the neatest, cleanset wound she had ever seen! After my operation the check ups were dealt with by registrars who were good but I would have appreciated seeing my consultant just once, however he did sign me off on my 12month check so I was able to thank him. I am very grateful for the pain relief this operation has provided.
