My son fractured his arm , went to trauma clinic the following day where we was seen by doctor shahid , my son required emergency surgery as there was no blood flow to his hand , doctor shahid and the team in the plaster room were fantastic . The team were calm and treated my son with dignity and respect explaining everything to him as they were getting him ready for theatre in a rush . Doctor shahid came to see me after surgery explained what the out come was , if it was the quick thinking of doctor shahid after seeing the photo of the facture my son could of lost his arm We are so great-full for all that doctor shahid and the team did that day . The following day doctor shahid visit my son who had to stay in over night on riverbank ward and looked at my sons arm and explained to my son what had happened and what to do and made an appointment to visit the following week . Every visit we had to trauma clinic my son was treated with respect , kindness and care Thank you doctor shahid for all you did we are truly thankful and can’t thank you enough
