I had a total knee replacement at the Redditch Alexandra Hospital. Dr Shahid was very attentive and clear in his descriptions and instructions. The Surgery was conducted under a spinal block and the anaesthetist staff were extremely reassuring. The operation and post operative conditions were all as described with no problems at all. I was in hospital for 2.5 days and walking unaided in 3 weeks.
