I was referred to this consultant at the womens hospital after a long delay at another hospital - within 2 days of MRI I was seeing him and a date organised for possible cancer surgery (which it was) - I was lacking in trust given the poor treatment and complete disregard for my obvious clinical urgency that I had been given at the first hospital however I found him and his team to be honest about the issues, willing to listen and formulate a plan of urgent action together with great explanations. I had surgery very quickly and have made a great recovery so far. He was kind and spent time to explore anxieties and gave honest explanations of the surgery and the subsequent outcome possibilities.
