Mr Banwell carried out diep breast reconstruction after a skin sparing mastectomy on my left breast following a non invasive DCIS diagnosis. This procedure was carried out in March 2019. I am so pleased with my results, but I wanted to write this review as my journey is finally complete, I had the other breast made smaller and lifted in November 2019, 3D tattoo in 2021. I recently had my yearly mammogram, the radiologist did not know the reason why I was just having one breast imaged, when I told her she was amazed, she then said that it was one of the best reconstructions she had ever seen.
