I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in late December and had an appointment with mr Thomas on the 2nd January, because of my advanced cancer Mr Thomas preformed the operation on the 6th January with the di-Vinci robot. Because of the rare kidney cancer, Mr Thomas told me that this was one of the few examples of this type of kidney cancer that he had operated on.
Both my left kidney and the ureter had to be removed
