Mr Thomas was direct and informative about my symptoms and the operation required to correct things. Following the consultation and my acceptance of the necessity of having my left kidney removed, we agreed a timescale and it was totally kept to. The operation was carried out early on Day 1(08.01.2020), I was in the Kent & Canterbury Hospital for the following two nights and on Day 3 following a review with Mr Thomas was allowed home with all the necessary medication and advice. My recovery has gone well and I had my "sign off" consultation today (26.03.2020) 11 weeks after the operation.
