I was fortunate enough to meet Mr Wanis in respect of on-going urology probems I had been experiencing for about 10 years, specifically that is poor flow and my bladder not emptying fully. After a urodynamics test he recommended a TURP as being the answer to my problems since medication was not working and the problem was getting worse. Mr Wanis was careful and patient in explaining both the process and possible side effects. He is polite couteous and I could not have been more confident in his both his advice and his ability to carry on the operation. Mr Wanis even called me on the Sunday before my operation to make sure I was all set. As it turned out I had a urinary infection on the day of the operation so erring on the side of caution it was rescheduled for 2 weeks later while I took a course of antibiotics. It was indeed carried out on the new date and my flow is now ten times better than it was before and my bladder if fully emptying. There are no issues of leekage or anything like that. In short it has been a life changing success and I am eternally grateful to Mr Wanis and indeed the whole of the skilled team I met at Crawley Hospital and the East Surrey urology unit befor that.
