I consider myself fortunate to have received the benefit of Mr. Sayegh's professional and caring attitude. Any operation which involves a general anaesthetic is bound to involve a degree of anxiety if for no other reason that you are literally putting your life in the hands of someone you do not know. I never had any doubts about Mr. Sayegh's ability to perform the operation competently. What sets him apart is that he treats you like a human being rather than just a patient. He answered all my questions prior to the operation and visited me immediately beforehand with comforting words and to make sure that I was prepared. Afterwards, when I was recuperating at home, he 'phoned me several times to make sure that I was progressing according to plan and answered my questions about the recovery process. He must have dealt with this scenario many times but it was all new to me and I valued his calm and encouraging manner every time we spoke. I have nothing but praise for Mr. Sayegh and would strongly recommend him if you are considering an operation within his range of specialisms.
