I saw Matthew Trotter 12 months ago at an outpatients department for treatment for nosebleeds. His straightforward friendly manner was reassuring. He explained exactly what he was going to do and what to expect when he cauterised my nose. At my follow-up last week he saw me well before my appointment time and his manner was exactly the same as he gave me further advice if the problem reoccurred. He clearly cared for me as the patient.
