I first saw Mr Trotter at Good Hope NHS Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, unfortunately he no longer holds a clinic there and I have since seen him at Heartlands and most recently Solihull Hospital which are all in the same Trust. Our meetings have been over about 10 years and he has operated on me under general anesthetic. I find him to be most approachable and he has a great manner friendly yet professional. I have had treatment for Hearing problems over the last 20 years and have had Grommets and later Tympanostomy tubes inserted on a number of occasions. I found it interesting that many parents review him as being good with children, well he aint bad with old guys either! When I complained of another hearing problem recently, he offered to insert a T-Tube under a local anesthetic and explained that it might be painful. I thought he was joking! This was to save me going on a waiting list and having the work done in the Outpatients Clinic. I had told him that I was desperate and the procedure turned out to be no more painful than a visit to the dentist, quickly completed and I was soon over the anesthetic. Totally recommended. This specialist with assistance from his nurse Jenny looked after me admirably. Recommended without reservation.
