We meet with Prof Martin Elliott a few days before our daughter was taken Into GOSH having been diagnosed with LSTS , Her diagnosis was a total shock to us we had no idea about the surgery and what was going to happen over the coming weeks . Martin talked us though what would happen once she was transferred to GOSH and told us what to expect . I remember he took time and patience to explain things but in a way that was easy for us to understand , nothing we asked was silly . He went on to care for her over her long stay at GOSH we ment with him offen and he always took the time to answer anything that was on our mind . We are 7 years on and it's been a bumpy road but the care our daughter has been given by Martin and his team is nothing less than outstanding . We feel honoured that Martin looks after our daughter .
