A Good Surgeon Consultant is also one who is attentive, analytical, brave, calm, cooperative, creative, decisive, energetic, ethical, friendly, gracious, humorous, investigative, knowledgeable, mature, nurturing, observant, passionate, responsible, reassuring, selfless, skillful, trustworthy, vigilant, and wise. Mr. Mark Simmons is all of that And then SOME! I had suffered severe Epistaxis for 2 years. Had been cauterised multiple times and had frequent flyer points issued by Worcester Royal Hospital A & E as I was a very frequent visitor. I had seen so many ENT specialists I felt that I knew the whole department. I am a part time public speaker and had to perform several times wearing an unsightly but very efficient ‘Rhino’ Nose Clip. Just one visit to Mr. Simmons who took the time to explain to me the correct procedure for cauterisation, before performing the very same. This all took place more than six weeks ago. I am now more confident when I go anywhere and especially when I stand at the front of an audience. Thank you so much Mr. Simmons, you are a remarkable Specialist Consultant and well worthy of that title. David R
