I consulted with Mr. Simmons privately and I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the examination and the time and care Mr. Simmons took in understanding my concerns. Mr. Simmons advised me against surgery even though, as a private patient, it was in his financial interest to recommend it. Mr Simmons came across to me as a man of integrity who explained fully the risks involved in surgery and the limits to what any surgeon can achieve.
