I've had ongoing issues with my neck, shoulder and arm after a being knocked off my bicycle. Over 8 years and more appointments, GPs, doctors, MRIs, physio, medication I was at the end of my tether. It felt as if I had to convince doctors something was wrong with me as none could show any sort of proof of an issue. Just lots of speculation. After a more recent accident I was referred to Dr. Mano Shanmuganathan. Our first appointment was short but he put me at ease immediately. I had a new MRI within a few days and a follow up a few days after that. So in all within two weeks I have an answer. At our follow up he spoke plainly and friendly - to the point. He started ruling out the big nasties and asked if it was out of turn, which it wasn't, to suggest that I had felt I was in a position of trying to convince him I had an issue. Without ever saying so he knew. I'm pleased to say we have a plan of action and options on the table. I've felt so let down and annoyed over the years I couldn't stop smiling when I left. Sure I have an issue, but at least I know what we're dealing with now and no longer have to fight my corner. Worth every penny and more!
